Valeria Caboi

First place winning choreography in the MarteLIve performance arts Award 2010 in Rome, GESTazione is Valeria's first professional choreographic work including the interaction with video projections. The huge hand in the video, combined with the live dance, creates the illusion of a human passive puppet complitely commanded by his gigantic mover. An artistic and political reflection on the fake freedom of our developed reach coutries. The performance also touches the team of the interaction between an organic human body and the digital technology he interacts with.

After the succes of the live performance, a video version was created, where the more modern and urban puppet makes some attempts of set itself free.
